Visit to Burgard's

A visit to Burgard's iris garden with a new-to-me camera. About 1/5 left in bloom so snapped multiple pics of some to test out camera and including all, uncropped and undoctored color, It's a Sony W270 (pocket size). So here goes alphabetically with the first of 60 or so pics.

How does the camera do in catching purple (which many cameras capture as red instead)?

Mantis, sorry to be late answering. This camera did not catch the lavender on Bollywood's falls as well as my old Olympus Comedia (sp. ?). If I could find a clump of Victoria Falls that would be a real test.

Overall I'd say it doesn't show special aptitude for catching those difficult blue-lavenders. But the purples were good. It distinguished the more violet Vicar from the bluer purple of Standing Proud.

Gotta get those posted.
