Confusing pollinators

My yard is being taken over by nasty yellow flowering weeds. Today because I have gotten on some strange mailing list, I received a farm catalog featuring a special sale on colorant for sprays. So I was wondering, if I sprayed my yard with the green colorant, would the pollinators (normally attracted by yellow) get confused and go elsewhere?

Insects "find" their favored plants by various means, among them the shape/form of the plant.

Better to deal with the weeds that to color them.

AND those spray tank colorants don't work that way....it is simply a temporary dye to let the spray technician know for certain where he/she has made passes. It will not color the flowers, nor will it remain after a rain or irrigation cycle.
