Fall is here!

Hi - In just a few days the 1st Day of Autumn is official! Sigh! ... all of my 8 Serratas' petals have turned over & started their color changes even weeks ago. A few of them grew taller by a ft+ ... have to prepare for more extensive cover-ups for Winter.

The Nikko that was relocated is about the same size, but I succeeded in rooting some canes in containers gave away most & kept 2, now in the ground - will have to be protected as well! Much work ahead!!! What's more my Ginkgo tree's fruits has started coming down some ... my purgatory time is here!!!

With the advent of cooler days, after a steamy horrid Summer, a few of the ES & cousin, even Paniculatas & a few Clemies decided to do some late show of blossoms!!!

Just sharing!!!~â¬;)

You sound like myself....:):)...getting ready for fall!! I
have sooo much to do and cannot wait to get really into
it. Still have weeding to do and a few transplants of Limelights, division of two Annabelles and a Pee Gee that
I must move. I have 'clean-up and expansion' on the brain.
Vines to cut back, winter sown hibiscus to plant, giant
hostas to make a bed for and plant, mulch and compost to
put down....:):). The list goes on.

Just sharing here too !!!!!!

I also have a lot of garden work to do this autumn after our hot and horrid summer. But I (lost my mind and) decided to enter something in our local flower show this weekend. I've never entered anything in my life, so this will be a brand new experience. So, I can't think past this weekend right now, LOL. Of course, the entry will absolutely include hydrangeas!

Do you have any pictures of your serratas with changing colors?
