climbing hydrangeas

hi all;

i got a large plant from freecycle.and this is my first

hydrangea and just want it to be happy. saw the post about

planting on the east side of house.\

i plan on planting it so it can climb up a old foundation wall. got any thoughts. thanks in advance.

I just planted one last month and was wonderfully guided by chelone6 in this Hydrangea Forum. Go down the list of posted threads and find "CLIMBING HYDRANGEA - LOTS OF??'. It was posted by 'ajfan' Z4 0f n Ontario I guarantee you will learn a great deal. Chelone even generously posted photos of her Climbing Hydrangea ... absolutely beautiful and a great tutorial thread in this Forum!
