I had to double check who was posting this iris, I saw the yellow columbines & thought sure that was Rita :) It makes a pretty clump. Beautiful color. Love your path.

I just love youir color combos! I also saw the yellow columbine and smiled thinking you had the same idea as I did by planting columbines in back of your iris.

That is so pretty, and I adore the picture with ...that just has to be Clarkia! Rats! I love that adn will never be able to grow it either. Sorry, I must have adult hyperactivity to get distracted like I do. Anyway, Renee, beautiful pictures as always.

Marg, that's Giant Imperial White Larkspur. It was spectacular last year. This year it has barely put up stalks. Spin-Off just sent up two more bloom stalks- and the flowers are bigger than previous years. I guess it likes its new location.

I like the columbine/iris combo. I have planted a few beds that way and since I was just getting ready to design another bed, I guess I will need more iris and more columbine. Too bad they are my favorite flowers and I can't find a reason not to buy more..
