It's nice to see the beginning of your season to give those of us whose iris are finishing up, an extended iris season by sharing your pictures.

I'm wondering if your Full Tide might be the same as one of mine whose tag went missing? It's a lousy picture, but the only one I have. It didn't bloom this year. The name has a familiar ring to it.. ...of course my memory being what it is.....

Well, it could be. I really don't know if mine is FT as it was bought at WalMart long ago. It was labeled Full Tide, but that doesn't mean that is what was in the package. But yours looks to have thinner foliage like mine does. Mine kind of fades as the flowers get older. Do you remember if yours is that way? I think my standards are a bit less rolled up than yours. here is another photo for you to look at where they are closer.

I think 'Full Tide' was hailed as one of the first "blue" iris.

The problem with those dang blue irises is that they are all named Full Tide or Tide Pool or Ocean Pacific or Pacific Tide or Ocean Tide! I can never remember which is which.

And don't forget all those wave names-Breakers etc. But they are all pretty, those ruffly blues.
