It is unlikely your rebloomers will rebloom here in MN with our short season (though there are a few that might). To increase your odds, cut or snap the stalks off now at the very bottom where they attach to the rhizomes so the plants will stop putting any energy toward seed production. Give them a light feeding of a low-nitrogen fertilizer now, and water them deeply once every couple of weeks if there is no rainfall. DO NOT overwater or you may rot them.

I cut back the seed pods and lightly fertilize with a 6-10-10 fertilizer and water once a week after the first bloom. I have about 6 varieties of bearded iris that rebloom for me in Z4A.

Would you please list the names of the irises that have ever rebloomed for you? I'd be interested in knowing them. I, too, have had about a half dozen irises rebloom for me, but all but one have only rebloomed once in the last 7 yrs.
