does anyone here grow 'Midwest Gem'?

My neighbor gave me this historic several years ago. I think it may be 'Midwest Gem' but there are few pictures at HIPS website to compare it to.

It is mid-season, about 24-30 inches in my garden, medium size flowers (probably large during its time). It has a purple tinge at the base of the foliage, no scent. As it fades it takes on a kind of a strange "beige" color, especially from a distance, hence my garden nickname 'rootbeer'.
