Is your smokebush on the "blue end" of purple or does it have a burgundy tinge (around the edges of the leaves)? I think most irises that are in the purple range are going to be too blue. Look at these and see what you think:

You can't go wrong with the ever popular white 'Skating Party'. A favorite across the country. When I saw it I knew why. Good form and nice substance.

Another good white is the reblooming 'Immortality'.

Not sure of bloom time on these.

Have to look when I'm home for the deep burgandys.

What about Select Circle or Oreo? They are deep plum-black plicatas on white ground. Val Walker
