I bought some 6500k daylight fluorescent Phillips Brand bulbs from Home Depot. will they do a good job growing tomatoes from seed?

Or do I have to mix a different type of bulb with them to achieve good results. I am not looking for perfection, like to keep things simple as possible. The bulbs at Home depot labeled cool, office etc. are confusing to me about what they really mean.
