They appear to be white oriental lilies. It is impossible to tell which cultivar as there are many named white oriental lilies that look alot alike. Oriental lilies are known for their strong fragrance. 22cm across is not unusual. Continue to care for them. When the foliage yellows in the fall you can carefully separate them and plant them in your garden if you like. Plant so that the top of the bulb is 10-15 cm deep in very well draining soil (or the bulbs may rot). When they come up in the spring, feed with a low nitrogen fertilizer and again right before bloom. You can get oriental lilies in all shades of pink and near reds, and many are adorned with lovely dark speckles. Look around in the fall or spring for bareroot bulbs if you are interested in getting more of these wonderful lilies!

Thank you very much for your extremely helpful advice, I will follow it carefully & in the mean time will look out for more of the species.
Thank you

Sandra, be careful not to get the orange pollen on your clothing, it stains. If you cut them to bring inside you will probably want to cut that part off.
