I had a good early start on my pole beans along a trellis; beans were about 2' tall. A big wind blew it over and a number of the vines got broken anywhere from near the ground to near the top. My question is, will they "branch out" and send up a new stem from the broken point, or is the broken vine like pinching off the top so it won't grow taller? I.E., replant or salvage?
