cutworm eating Iris help

I have cutworm eating my Iris. I dug them up and wash them out. Do I spray them or not? Keep the Iris out till fall or replant them now? What do I do with the soil? Treatment to kill the buggers? Are this Iris worth saving?

That pink larva with the dark head is not a cutworm; it's an iris borer. You can read more about them and how to deal with them in the threads on this forum related to iris borers. I'll link one of the more comprehensive threads below:
