I'm planning on planting some Wren's Eggs. I am looking for a bean similar to the Cargamanto which is very popular in Colombia. It has red stripes on the pod, is speckled and is used in shell stage. I suspect it is a "horticultural" bean and am hoping to find something with a similar flavor and cooking qualities. I also am planting Vermont Cranberry.

Wrens Egg is actually a short vine pole bean. Plan on 5-6 feet. Vermont Cranberry is a bush bean but does send out short runners on occasion.
