one completely yellow snap pea seedling

My sugar snap peas are about an inch tall now, and one of them is completely yellow, it looks like it was grown in the darkness. I figure it's some neat recessive gene.

My question is, is it worth letting it grow and see what happens, whether it grows better or worse than normal peas? I am rather space limited. Have I discovered a new pea variety? Even if I have and it is wonderful, with only one plant can I get useful seeds?
