I suspect that this neat recessive gene will be lethal, once the seedling runs out of the food stored in its seed. Plants need chlorophyll to live. I doubt it will take up much space, so you might as well let it be.

If it does live, it would be cool to have a yellow variety, so I wish it luck. Peas normally self-pollinate, so save seeds if it manages to make any.

I had exactly the same with a bean seedling. And yes - it died within days of being planted out. No chlorophyl, no way of getting 'food'.

If your's should make it, that would be quite something.

Yep, it died. Stopped growing at about 2 inches tall, and got eaten up. It was interesting how large it got from just the seed.
