cover crops

We have a piece of land that needs a cover crop. I usually seed something like this in the fall. Clover vetch wheat and rye. What legumes could I use this spring that would hold up to mowing every couple of weeks? I like to broadcast and not disturb the soil that is left.

I could plant something else in the spots to rough to mow. It will have to depend on rain water. I would not care if it died out in the summer as long as it helps to hold the soil.
