Whatever lilies you like :-) Retail nurseries and garden centers (and most box stores, too) have lily bulbs in stock now to plant - Asiatics (widest color choice), Orientals (fragrant) and various other popular choices: trumpet lilies, orinpets, etc. I just picked up some 'Blackout' Asiatic lilies at my local HD this week to add to my collection.

Since you describe yourself as "lily dumb", the ones listed above are true lilies, of the genus Lilium. There are many other plants that have 'lily' as part of their common name that are not true lilies that you could plant now as well. Some will be summer or early fall flowering bulbs but others will be summer blooming perennials like daylilies or blackberry lilies.
