I have mine in a woodland garden, filtered sun most of the day. It doesn't lean at all. Keep in mind that the martagons may not show any growth the first year or just a few basal leaves. They are slow to settle in but really worth the wait.

I bought 5 Mrs. Backhouse from them last fall. They all came up. I plan on throwing some compost and maybe some peat on that new bed when I get around to it, also have a bunch of leaves I composted in bins I made last fall. The soil is not that great as I just tilled and didn't amend (amended too much else last fall) but everything I planted in it seems to be thriving so far.

I know some of their things are expensive, but I must not have thought they were that bad or I wouldn't have bought them.

I got some lycoris from them, those were expensive but I wanted them in the worst way. They have come up and look lush, also some of those lilies they have pictured by their shed and a few other things.

So far Mrs. is standing straight and tall unlike my Regals on the east. I made sure to site them where they wouldn't get too much sun, seems about right for them. I'm prepared with plenty of loop plant stakes if they do lean, may get too tall for those. I didn't know they were in the tiger lily family. I was drawn by the colors in their photo, hope they bloom true.
