Sure, you can plant them in a large container. You have to provide them with excellent drainage. Tango Lilies are Asiatics, so they are hardy to zone 3 if planted in the garden. Large container should be fine for overwintering them in your zone. Also, you can plant them more close to each other if you are willing to divide them every year or so. 25 cm is too sparse for container planting IMHO. If drainage is good, you can water them after planting. Just never allow the soil to get soggy.

They can live a year or two without dividing planted 4-6" from each other. They will have lots of babies by fall though: Asiatics multiply fast...
