Yellow leaves do not always indicate lack of nitrogen,as nemotodes,poor drainage ,stem and root rot can produce symptoms of nitrogen deficiency
If the rhizobia can reach the roots they should be able to inoculate them,however if plentiful nitrogen is present they will wait until the nitrogen is depleted before fixation is complete
Inoculates will only provide 50-60 percent of the nitrogen needed for green beans
They should provide all for lima beans and cowpeas
I also use mollassis to feed these and other soil microbs
