There are many sprays marketed to kill aphids. I find the rose sprays work pretty well. (Bayer and Ortho are a couple of brands.) You can also get the "Safer" brand products if you want to use fewer chemicals, but they aren't quite as effective.

They main reason to get rid of aphids is because they spread lily virus.
