Deadhead the spent flowers (cut the small stems off the main stem, but leave the long flower stem alone).

If you have a hardy lily (lilium) it will look something like the onces below. You may not have a hardy lily (which is not continously blooming) but another type of "lily" such as daylily, etc.

Ok, don't hold out on us now.. do your lilies look like the onces pictured ?? is it hardy lilies (lilium) that you got, or other types ? (daylily, sword lily, peruvian lily, etc) ??
