Moving asiatics

Here is the question, every year for the past 4 years when some of my asiatics are blooming, I remember that I need to move them. But because they are blooming I decide to wait until later in the season, and either I forget or I run out of time. That particular bed is run over by quack grass, and other weeds, and really needs to be dug out, cleaned out and refreshed. My asiatics in that bed have not bloomed yet, they are only about 4" tall. Will I do irreversible damage if I just "do it"?
