Formosa is "dead easy". I put my seeds in a pot filled with damp Jiffy Mix, then covered the seeds with granite grit, then put the pot outside from January on--as soon as our 4 feet of snow melted so I could get outside, that is. I assume that means they need or like chilling. Anyways, they germinated with a vengeance this spring, and I'm thrilled. I think they were up and growing in about 3 months.
