These look like flexible strips, so they are probably fixed with adhesive across the back of the LED strips. There are also options out there for screw in LED strips. However, with this setup, adhesive backing will probably be your best bet!

Etherial- Looks like the wires are running either under the stairs or under the wood on the bottom steps and then through the wall. Then through the wall to get to the hand rail.

Using flush mounted LED channel is also another great way to get a clean application like this. It can easily be integrated under the stair overhangs or into the railings. EnvironmentalLights.com sells this same type of channel and a variety of LED strip lighting that fits perfectly with the channel. The LED channel also comes with diffusers to smooth out the light and reduce any hot spots.

If you really wanted to expand your market share, you should make them available in 9-24 volts AC instead of DC only so they will mesh with the outdoor AC transformers we use. Then, you would really have something. Right now it's not cost effective to run a new outlet just for the DC lights. Just a thought...

In this particular setup, aluminum profiles are installed in the hand rail, but the same look can be achieved with flexible light strips with adhesive peel and stick backing which makes for a super easy installation! The wiring is a bit trickier (hiding it really). Here it is in the wall already, but we just started carrying a flat wire that can be painted over for easy disguising!

How do you change the light strip when it needs to be replaced?

how these LED strips are connected to the power supply ? will you please brief it's circuit ? and may I know how the connecting cables are made invisible from outside ?

Yes, the handrail bottom slotted for embedded led profile. Led wire across through bracket to wall.
