Anybody here grown tepary beans before? Are they a bush bean or a pole bean? I read something online that they're a pole bean, but the instructions I got with my order from nativeseeds.org doesn't say anything about trellising them, but with runner beans it does, so I wonder if that omission means I can assume they don't have to be trellised.
And if you have any other interesting tidbits about these beans I'll like to hear it. We're in such a bad drought here in Texas that I'm researching more arid-climate adapted plants for my garden.
