I wouldn't think they would cross, only because I don't think tigidium reproduce from seed, only by bulbils or dividing bulb. But maybe it could pollinate your asiatic & produce a plant, not sure. I guess that is how they produced orientpets, but they just seem closer.
If you have extra bulbils though, I would love to trade you for a few! I have the orange which I love, but no yellow. Must be pretty.

Lots of the bulb catalogs sell yellow variants of tiger lilies, perhaps you just got your own mutation. If it were me, I would collect those bulbils, the assumption being that they will produce plants with yellow flowers, and start a stand of yellow ones. Also, since in my experience young lily plants tend to start producing bulbils long before they bloom, you may already have other plants in your clumps that will produce yellow flowers as soon as they get to blooming size.

Me too, Steve. I see these bulbs in a catalog--called 'Turk's Cap Lily'. They have it in orange, yellow, red, and purple. I'm definitely going to cultivate these yellow ones, and I think I'll buy the red, and maybe the purple, too.

Geez, summer's young and I'm thinking about planting bulbs!
