I planted bush beans on mothers day this year. About three weeks later I had to hoe and replant in between plants cause they didnt take. Now the first batch is about done producing. The second batch is just now coming on. Somewhere I read to mow or cut the bean plant down and it will produce another round of beans. Anyone try this? If it does work how low do I cut the plant? Sounds easier to just replant, But if I wait until this new batch is done it will be too late to plant.
