I didn't let him hang around long enough to rebloom. He grew like kudzu and made baking potato sized rhizomes. He is rather loosely held together, too. I don't think I have ever heard of WAS reblooming.

I am going to say that this is just a mistake unless more of the clumps put up a bloom stalk. Walter do you know if rebloom was part of the first checklist(pre 1940). WAS is not listed as reblooming in the check list. I have read everything I can find on iris the last four years so I may be confused but I think I read that WAS did rebloom in some locations. You are right about it growing like a weed. I set out 14 small rhizomes on 08-27-05 and I now have 14 clumps. Lee Mincy

I don't have the latest Reblooming Iris Society Checklist so I cannot check to see if WAS has rebloomed somewhere. I don't remember seeing it but could be wrong.
