I ordered 12 Golden Stargazer lilies last fall. Only half of them flowered. Whereas all of my John Scheepers bulbs (no lilies) flowered, and all of my Lily Nook lilies bloomed. I'm not buying from J & P again.

what are your lilies? I am desperately looking for upside down blooms on lilies, that can tolerate our weather. any insights.

love your roses list. are they on fortuniana?PS. would you mind if i ask you what are your most disease resisitant in our hot humid blackspot magnet weather.

My first lilies were from Jackson and perkins...am oriental hybrid mix. By the second year they were lovely but in my case nearly all were white of w hite and pale pink. THAT was about 8 yrs ago and now I buy form D and D or the Lily GArden or the LilyPad and some from Dutch GArdens. I wouldn't be afraid t o try the J and P mixes but give them a couple of years to get to size.

Radha...so far my lilies are few (in the process of changing that)but I have the oriental Casa Blanca and another white NOID oriental. Also have a few asiatics. None of these however are the upside down kind of blooms. As to the roses, I sent you email :)
