Bearded iris - storage

19 years ago

I have some bearded iris that I have dug to replant (it was time to dig & divide them). I haven't gotten them all in the ground yet and am wondering if I can store them till spring?

Also, how late will it be OK to plant them this fall? I have some dahlias to dig out and would like to put some iris in where the dahlias come out.
