I have had a area of Irises in my backyard for years... split them last year, gave some away and planted some in my front yard. This year the Irises in front started blooming on October 1 and finally quit on November 10. I do not think these are rebloomers since I don't recall the original clump ever reblooming in the fall.
Now I have some seed pods which are still green. I'd like to try and plant the seeds next year. There was a hard freeze last night and I am wondering if they even survived. I am an hour west of St. Louis.
Tried to upload a picture several different ways, but nothing worked.
