Savory (winter or summer) is a good companion--also basil.

Below is a chart for companion planting. Mint would be a double edge sword. It can handle a lot of water, but it is very invasive.

Corn beans and squash or pumpkins are companions. the beans climb the corn stalks that grow in hills and the squash fill in the ground between the hills. Some people plant radishes near the pumpkin and squash plants to repell the sqash bugs . good luck
