Pineapple Lily

I have received a Pineapple Lily as a gift and need some instruction on what works best for them.

I have it sitting in a well lite area, no sunshine at all. The flower at the end of the shoot is kinda turning dark off white (little flowers). The flower shop said cut it off and a new one will appear.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

Doesn't appear that the Pineapple Lily is a true lily - the website below seems to have some good info about how to care for it - a very pretty plant !

Thank you for the reply. This is good info on the plant. I didn't realize you could plant it outside. I plan to keep mine in a pot inside.
