A friend just gave me an Asiatic Lily from her garden in San Francisco. She said the top portion had died so we thought it ok to dig it up. It was an offshoot from a Lilly she found in Golden Gate Park. I washed it off good and wrapped it in damp towel and into a plastic bag and brought it here to Indianapolis. Here are my questions.

Should I plant it now? The ground here is still very warm?

If I need to store it till cooler temps how to store?

Will it thrive here in Indiana?
