I ordered, and got in trade about 50 of the Kasperek iris fall 2005. Every one bloomed for me this spring, and they were absolutely beautiful, and multiplied considerably.

Some people have said they do not do as well in other parts of the country, but here in my garden, they were a WOW.

Tiger Honey has been the easiest to grow and bloom.

I like Kilimanjaro Sunrise, though it could use a few more ruffles. The color is different from the rest of the 'broken color' irises.

Hi Eveyone,
Here in Australia, Barry Blyth of Tempo Two has a number of Kasperek's iris.
Personally, I love the broken colour irises.
I have Gnu's Flash, King Tush and Spiced Tiger. I have also just received Tiger Honey, Toucan Tango and Bewilderbeast.
I'm looking forward to having a dabble in hybridizing with a number of these beauties!

Mark

Wow! Eye candy for the whole winter!

Mark,
I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome of your hybridizing efforts.

'Baboon Bottom' finally bloomed for me, after struggling for a few years. It was worth the wait. The blooms were splashed in white and shades of dusty pink. Saw several of his blooming at the Convention that were looking good and holding up to the rain well. It is great to see a hybridizer with such a unique line and sense of humor, not only with his flowers but their names as well.
