I have two lucky bamboo plants in tall vases with paradise fish (more cold tolerant than bettas) which are growing quite well. My question is that can other Draceanas be grown is a simmilar way (in water glasses)? On a trip to Singapore I saw canes of D. fragrans being sold and a friend has a large D. reflexa they are going to cut down. Could I grow some stems in water? Also, does anyone know what the red tags and ribbons that are hung on indoor plants like lucky bamboo in Singapore mean?
