Sometimes the leaves turn yellow, but when the stalks are yellowing, that can be a more serious problem. Watch the stalks for softening and disease. If they start to look moldy or get squishy, remove those stalks from the rest of the plants.

I would contact the company and let the know I received the plant with yellowed stalks. Perhaps they will send a replacement. Otherwise, let use know how your plant does! Do not add too much fertilizer to the plants. They should be fertilized only very lightly.
