Has anyone grown these seeds from Gourmet Seeds of Italy? They have been growing great and making lots of nice Romano type bush beans. They have been very good yielders and the beans with nearly mature seeds have had excellent flavor and texture, still not terribly fibrous. The problem is that in addition a small number of plants turned out to be pole beans, making vines and fleshy beans with an oval cross-section, slight string, a slight purple tinge on the green bean, and a purple flower. I had to make some supports and strings for them to climb on. I'm wondering if this is in all their Marconi nano seeds or what? Any similar experiences? I can put in a photo if anyone is interested. There is also one pole bean that is very different with a wide flat green bean with somewhat wavy edges, and white flowers.
