Please post a photo. I have wanted to buy from Seeds of Italy for years and if they mix or cross their seeds, we'd all like to know. Was it Seeds of Italy in Europe or Seeds From Italy, the US distributor, or Gourmet Seed? Or is there a company called Gourmet Seeds of Italy?

Did you maybe buy the seeds from the Italian Gourmet Collection of Neseeds?

I bought the seeds from Gourmet Seed. I think the Marconi nano beans are very good and I also like the pole beans and will save the seeds. They are not like any pole beans I've grown. This is the mystery pole bean with the purple tinge, of which there are several-

It doesn't bother me that the seeds had some extraneous seeds in them, I consider it a plus to get to try some new pole beans for free, and I will continue to order from Gourmet Seeds. They put a lot of seeds in their packets. I just picked some of their cylindrical turnips at 6 weeks, 3-4"long-

Gourmet seeds has pole bean Lingua Di Fuoco. If it's like what I got from Thompson and Morgan, I recommend it. Makes a big vigorous bean with lots of large seeds that are creamy when cooked. Very good shelly.
