A friend of mine absolutely LOVES a lily called Belle Epoque. The place he used to buy it no longer sells it. I would like to be able to get him some but so far I can not find any place that sells it. Have any suggestions on where to look? Thanks
I looked on-line and was unable to find a seller of this Lily (though I did find a description of it as a pale pink oriental). That's probably why you haven't gotten a reply from the forum. But, let me suggest a substitute. The oriental lily "Aruba" is a pale pink oriental (with no freckling). It grows to about 5' in the garden once established. I have this lily and it is really very beautiful. Large blooms with a nice shape and a beautiful delicate pink color. Van Engelen/John Scheepers has "Aruba" for sale. Oddly enough at the same quantities but different prices. Van Engelen is the bulk sales sister of John Scheepers and usually has better prices for larger quantities. But in this case they offer the same size packages - with slightly lower prices at Van Engelen.
It's not too late to plant lilies yet - even in zone 4 - so I hope this helps.
