I have several bean plants started. They are about three weeks old from planting and just produced their first two sets of true leaves. I arrived home yesterday and many of them are wilted, one plant is completely sagged over. I assume this is a result of the heat. The weather yesterday reached 95 degrees, and while I thought they were moist enough, they still wilted. Does this sound like heat stroke? Will my plants rebound? Today they are getting a soaking and weather should be overcast and high of 80. The plants are grown in raised beds, have been watered, but not too much and the soil was amended with fresh compost, composted manure and worm castings.
