Asiatic Lily or tiny hope

My husband just bought me a small container of these yesterday for my birthday. Our soil is full of rocks and not really condusive to outdoor planting. Is it possible to keep them alive in the house in a large planter? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Carla,
Lilies are not indoor plants. They need cold period every winter for blooming. Their foliage dies every year. You also might be in a zone that are too warm for planting Asiatics outdoors.

Oh man...so what do I do with them? They are beautiful and I love that my husband was thoughtful enough to get them for me..do I buy a barrel or planter or something and put them outside or is it too late in the year for that? Please help as I would love to see them year after year and sooo don't want them to die..
