Soggy Pods

I kept my two beans separated this year so that I could harvest seeds for next years' crop. There are a lot of pole beans that I left on the vines to dry out, but they are far from dry. The pods are brown but we have had a lot of rain the last few weeks and can look forward to more. The pods are terribly soggy.

I don't know whether to let them go outdoors for a while longer or if I should pick them and bring them indoors to dry. And if I do, should I take them out of the pods, or let them dry in the pods?

Thanks!!
