Is my Seedling a goner?

So, I should mention that this little lady has been through a lot of changes. I first had her under a 60w incandescent bulb (my mistake), and she got all spindly. Then I moved her to a fluorescent fixture with (2) T12, 6500K, 2900 lumen bulbs. She has since sprouted bigger leaves. However, other problems arose.

She started turning red in the stem and the bottom two leaves started to turn red and curl up. The new growths (at the top) were a brownish shade of red as soon as they began growth. I initially had her about 1.5 inches away from the light and planted in a 50/50 perlite/soil mix. I've since taken her back to 3 inches away from the light and changed the soil to even parts perlite/sand/peat moss.

Help guys! Is it too late for my little tree?
