Spring is a very difficult time if one is a collector of Asian maples and works for a nursery that carries a huge selection of them :-) I find myself wandering through the sales floor or getting distracted while helping customers by a particularly fetching form or stunningly colored new spring growth. But there are only so many maples that will fit into a small suburban garden, even in containers. And unfortunately, collecting maples is not my only plant vice - I collect too many other plants as well.

There is a 'Baldsmith' calling my name - I can hear it very clearly. But I have no idea where it could fit. What to do, what to do!!
