Black Eyed Peas Gardening Tips and Advice
Black-eyed peas enjoy warm days and warm nights, and are easily damaged by frost. For best results, plant them after all risk of frost has passed. Don't overwater black eyed peas, because they are very drought resistant. Too much nitrogren is bad for black eyed peas.

Planting Black-Eyed Peas (also known as Cowpeas)
Sow black eyed pea seeds about 1/2 to 1 inch deep, with 5 to 8 seeds per foot in each row. Keep rows 2 or 3 feet apart. Thin the plants so that there are 3 to 4 inches between them.

Days to harvest: 65 to 80
Days to germinate: 10 to 14
