Which Maple is best for my area?

Live in Central Louisiana, zone 9, and am wanting to purchase a Maple that gets a vibrant red color in the fall, or throughout the seasons. I was told by Sooner Plant Farm, that the Autumn Fantasy Maple was the best for the South. Is that true, or would you recommend another Maple?
