I have purchased Austins at Gingerbread Farms in Wayne, Maine, but the slection was limited. I also know that Old Sheep Meadow Farms in Alfred carries them. You might check and see what they have left. Last time I was there, I really didn't like the attitude, but if you're desperate. . . :)

how do you get to Gingerbread Farms in Wayne. looked through all 5 of my phone books but never seam to do well with them and that is so close I would love to stop (during the many miles I drive every week) LOL Thanks for your time...

I will no longer shop at Old Sheep Meadow Farms due to two awfully bad experiences with that lady. It's a shame because they do have a good selection. But even though I am desperate I swore I won't go back there. Heard lots of other complaints too.

Hi! I agree, Veilchen---too bad that they don't have better people skills. I think they're even worse that the folks at the Roseraie at Bayfields used to be! I get all my roses from High Country Roses in Utah---shipping is expensive, but they have a good selection of antiques and they are very nice to deal with. Not sure about Austins---I've tried them, but am really just one zone too cold. Does Suzie Verrier in Phippsburg carry any Austins?
