Dear gardening friends,

I was really looking forward to coming to the swap this year (I've missed the last 2 years) but it looks like life is going to get in the way again. I've had some health problems and so has my family and I finally realized there was just no way to get there. My sister had a section of her colon removed this week and she's my focus right now. The surgery was successful but she's still in a lot of pain and hallucinating from the pain medication they're giving her. Sigh.

I'll try to answer the emails I've been sent for swaps but I wanted to post this message in case I miss anyone. I'm really disappointed -- maybe this fall.
