Few questions on my katsura.. it was purchased as a 1 gallon plant but just about to be repotted in a 2 gallon container.

1) should I stake the branch that is sagging and hanging horizontally? Or would it get thicker in later years and start growing upwards? I already pruned or removed back some of the most leggy branches. My guess is that it might be too much fertilizer from the nursery.

2) I had some problem with a few leaves that is turning sort of dried and wrinkly. Is it just too much sun? New leaves are still pushing out have no problems.
